Mer Mag‘s drawings on fabric are so simple but totally captivating. I have some serious doodle envy happening. I may just have to grab some fabric markers for myself and get to work.
Just happened upon this piece in the most recent Craft Flickr Pool update. Muchodesign has created a simple embroidery piece inspired by the final print copy of Craft magazing.
Check out her Etsy to see the listing for yourself or her Flickr profile for more of her shots.

Tuck this in your pocket and save it for a rainy day. Smiles abound.
(there have been some problems with this site loading and perhaps even existing. hopefully it returns soon.)
Many of you may be aware of this cool little art project, but I wanted to share it here just in case you haven’t heard. The very cool people over at IndieFixx are offering monthly downloads of free artwork just to bring a smile to your face.
I recently picked up eight empty picture frames that are begging for some cool prints. I’m really looking forward to sitting down and choosing which pieces will take up residence on my walls. I’ll be posting pictures of the arrangement once they’re finally up.

Yet another brilliant craft project not possible without my dear friend scanner.
Cathe Holder, over at Just Something I Made, managed to scan one of her many quilts and use the images in a couple very cool projects. Perhaps the most craftily intoxicating is this leather business card holder. How sweet is this little thing?

I love me some Decor It Yourself, and I was especially happy to see the newest video focussed on DIY clocks repurposed from just about anything.

I’m in a bit of a tic-toc situation myself lately, I have this wonderfully kitschy clock passed down from my grandmother but it just needs a little work in the hands department. Meg’s newest video has provided me with the much needed motivation boost I’ve been hoping for.
Oh! I also wanted to share one of my more recent thrifty acquisitions. This lovely I found at my truly beloved Donnybrook in Warkworth, Ontario. I had to wait around at the auction table for ages for her, and to my surprise I was the only bidder. What’s happened to the general publics sense of clock humour?

I love and adore this beautiful quilt that Tiny Happy posted a while back. Personally, I’ve always thought of the purple/black colour combo as the mascot of 15 year old goth girls – but perhaps my mind has been changed.
Have a look for yourself and I dare you to not spend the next three hours dreaming of all the things you can put together in my new best friend hues.
