Before Puces Pop and stopping off in Kingston, I had a lot more of these belt buckles!  Parting is such sweet - forget it, parting is just fine!  I’m hoping they all find happy new homes.

Here’s a peek at the newest buckles being added to my Etsy.

I finally got in some new belt buckle findings the other day.  That can only mean that I have some brand new rockin’ belt buckles.

You can check them out at my Etsy or go in person to Made 4 You in Kingston, Ontario.

And Your Little Notebook Too…

Its always super exciting to pick up my freshly bound book from Staples.  Last week I had six or seven put together, but quite a few of them sold at Skeleton Park.

The process of creating these is a lot of fun.  I get to ravage local thrift shops for cute as kittens books.  Then I get to relieve all frustrations by ripping those sweet little books apart.  I get to incorporate a little sewing, scissors and my handy dandy laminating machine.

Check out my Etsy site to see some more details on these fantastic new pieces!

Hot Fruit

I’ve wanted to make soft toys for a long time now.  Months ago I bought a fabulous book called Softies.  Definitely one of the cuter books in my collection.  A while later I bought another book called Plush You.  That put the need for toys in overdrive.

I’ve played around with a few designs that I thought I’d like, but I was never super super pleased with the results.  Then I spent sometime with Photoshop and created a small cast of the worlds most awesomest fruit pack.  I call them Hot Fruit in homage to the notoriously funny show Strangers with Candy (please do not allow small children or your grandmother to watch this program).

Here’s your first chance to meet my newest friends….

I’ll be posting them on my Etsy soon enough.  They’re also being sold at Made 4 You in Kingston, Ontario.

I hope you like them as much as I do!

I’ve ravaged a couple of containers of clothing that I’ve had for a while and turned them into something a little more interesting.

I’m thinking that I will be adding these to my site, but I have to take some time to consider pricing and such.  These may also show up on Etsy.

Here are some of the pieces that I really dig.  Soon I’ll be sharing some of the men’s pieces that I’ve been working on.

Weekend Crafting…

I’m wrapping up yet another weekend full of glorious crafting.  I’m taking another stab at screenprinting.  I’ve avoided this particular craft for quite some time now.  I’m not fantastic at the preperation process, but I’ve sought out some expert advice on coating screens and such and I think I’ve done alright (who knows for sure?!).

Yesterday morning I hosted my second Resin Casting Workshop at Made 4 You.  It was a smaller group this time which worked well for organizational purposes.  It was also nice to have a timer right off the bat.

I spent last night cutting out pieces for some new resin belt buckles and serging new yoga pants.  Exciting stuff for a Saturday evening I know!

Anywho, almost time to start a new week.  Here we go…

Almost There…

I’ve been working away on stuff for the Recycled Clothing Fashion Show.  Thus far I have 6 (somewhat) beautiful and casual outfits fashioned from thrifted clothing.

I’ll be showing off pictures soon.

I’ve also been working hard on a line of yoga pants made from second hand men’s t-shirts.  They’re pretty darn comfortable, and cute to boot!

Pictures will come soon (I promise!).
